Movie Review from POFF Film Festival 2008 - Tallinn

In the photo, a policeman "lovely" explains his idea of Ireland

Perhaps the beautiful film seen till now to the POFF. A film where the speeches are reduced, where the sounds and the images (sometimes really crude picture) emphasize the violence and the atrociousness’s that the political prisoners had to endure in the English jails.

Movie review from POFF Film Festival 2008 - Tallinn

Toni Servillo acting as Giulio Andreotti

A documentary film on the life of one of the most controversial Italian politicians: Giulio Andreotti. MP since 1948 of the Italian Parliament, 7 times prime minister. The man probably most hated of Italy, but also probably the man most loved by Italians. He represents the political class more close to the values of the Church and the Americans, especially during the Cold War when the Italian Communist Party becomes stronger and stronger. In the film you see how, in the late’80s,is start early stage of his political decline, although the decline we cannot really talk.
